Bishop Gorman’s Varsity football team is playing their fourth game of the season against Long Beach Poly, this Friday at 7:00 at Fertitta Field. Bishop Gorman continues to work hard and to strive to be National Champions once again.
With one of the best quarterbacks in the country, Tate Martell, Gorman has a chance of winning it all again this year. The football players put a lot of time and effort into their team, practicing four days a week for three hours a day. The team didn’t take a step back after losing former head coach, Tony Sanchez. Instead, his brother, Kenny Sanchez, took over with some great ideas for this upcoming season.
Bishop Gorman has won three games this season, all against nationally ranked opponents. They continue to be ranked number one in the nation going into this game, while Long Beach Poly is ranked number 20 in the nation. The team is coming from Long Beach, California and is looking to pull an upset.
