Flora Arguilla took time to sit down and speak to me about her role as National Art Honors Society (NAHS) and the responsibilities she takes on. “My role as National Art Honor Society president requires that I attend all events that include NAHS, such as open houses, volunteer projects, face painting at school events, and anything else that requires a representative.” she stated. Bishop Gorman’s Military Food Drive

Bishop Gorman held a food drive for the Douglas J. Green Memorial Foundation, the week of November 2-13, to donate care packages to American soldiers.  Students donated many snacks, such as candy, chips, jerky, and power bars. The school is hoping for a 100% participation from students. Students are donating even without receiving community service hours. “We want the students to help from their own hearts,” said Ms. Portz. “These men and women sacrifice so much to protect us.”
